Nearing the end of the season the boys varsity soccer team traveled to Canton on Friday September 30th to face off against Canton Prep Chargers for the second time this season. The game ended in a 2-2 tie, with Mohamed Diallo scoring the first point in the first half and Abubocer Kaba scoring the tying point in the second half. Our fearless falcons had to fight tirelessly to equalize the score after the other team scored their second point midway through the second half. Our team's equalizer was scored with only two minutes left remaining in the game.
Players worked hard and cooperated well throughout the game with one player, senior Murtadha Alkhalaf, committed to win the ball and assist his teammates the whole game. The defensive side of the Falcons were led by: Ayham Zen and Mohammed Alkhalaf. Our goalies Abdoulye Kaba and Hasen Noor put in a solid effort in stopping many goals from the opposing team. We look forward to the Falcons last regular season game on Wednesday, October 5th at 6:00 pm at our home field, Wall Park. Go Falcons!
